I often meet new Internet marketers on various forums and they all want to earn as much money as some of the well-known characters, like Yanik Silver and Bryan Kumar. Most of these newbies haven’t a clue as to the course, and many of them are not willing or able to invest seed capital into their own online business. But it is almost impossible to start an Internet business these days without spending money on basic needs such as web hosting, domain names and so on. The first and most important thing you should do is list all your skills. What skills do you have? You may have gathered these skills in everyday life (e.g., language, dancing) through your work (practical information on a specific niche like welding or painting) or hobbies (e.g., fishing or hunting). Just tap into your resources.
So the first option, if you have no money to start your online business is to earn some capital using those existing skills or knowledge. You could tutor high school students, or you could another avenue to teach your hobby to people who are interested. You can write guides on knowledge or skills you have picked up from experience and thus can’t be found in typical textbooks.

This basically means that you will ‘sell’ someone else’s product and earn a commission, similar to a car salesman. You don’t need a website or a product to get started with affiliate marketing. You can simply sign up for a pay-per-click (PPC) advertising company such as Google Adwords. Then you simply promote the products you choose using your affiliate link as the destination. You are only charged when someone clicks on your add, not for each time it is displayed. Also, if you provide a credit card you can start marketing right away and normally Google will not charge you until you have reached $50 or so. You can set your daily budget so that it doesn’t get out of hand.
Well, if you cannot think of any skills or knowledge that people might be interested then it is very important to find a viable business model and follow it precisely. You can get almost everything you need through bartering, web hosting, domain name or credit card services (I just use PayPal, it’s free and easy), just to name a few, in exchange for your products or services such as copywriting, ghostwriting and website design. There’s always work that people do not want to do and are willing to outsource. This is where you come in and offer to write an article for them in exchange for a month’s hosting or resell rights to their products. Don’t be shy, ask and you might be surprised.
