OK... a replica of a place in Texas history!

Tealbriar is a tiny unique neighborhood of replicas of historic Texas homes. Home size ranges from 6400 to 7000 square feet built on heaps ranging from 37000 to fifty four,000 square feet. All are $one million + homes. This one-of-a-kind neighborhood is found in The Woodlands Texas Village of Indian Springs.

The house at eleven Tealbriar could be a duplicate of the Sterling Robertson Clark home in Bell County Texas. The first home was designed between 1856 and 1860. In 1984, the home became a Texas historic landmark and appeared in the National Register of Historic Places.

This reproduction home in Tealbriar is that the historic antebellum Texas plantation home merged with these days's energy-efficiency technology. Major room amenities are as follows:

Family Area (twenty two x twenty) Towering stone fireplace with designed-ins and twenty foot wall of windows overlooking the backyard forest and pool area. All of the wood flooring is two x six tongue and groove 1 center match pine hand -laid and hand-stained.

Formal Dining (22 x sixteen) Spectacular ceiling treatment with chair-mould and heat wooden floors for the treasured evening of entertainment.

Kitchen (18 x sixteen) Granite counters/slate backsplash and striking ceiling treatment. Appliances are Thermador with Sub-Zero refrigerator, Island gas cook-high, glass-front cupboards, and breakfast bar. Pantry (10 x eight) defines the word colossal.

Breakfast (19 x twelve) A excellent setting for the first meal of the day! A wall of windows catching the morning daylight plus the wealthy color of the wood floor creates an energizing experience.

Study (16 x 14) The walls of bookshelves, fire, and personal access to the covered front porch is the irresistible setting for enjoying a book or celebrating successful in the stock market with a glass of Screaming Eagle.

Formal Parlor (16 x 14) A additional formal setting with fire of black marble surround and decorative wainscot. Not shown could be a personal door to the coated front porch.

Upstairs Game-room (twenty x seventeen) . The walls in this room are "sound-dampened" with R-eleven fiberglass insulation. Sliding French Doors and facet panels eliminate "door clutter". Access to the entertainment center is via a door in the big storage closet

Follow the entry walk to an unparalleled experience of classic style. Produce your own Azalea Tour. Property is 100% wrought iron fenced for privacy with controlled access driveway gate. Inviting salt-water pool with spa, and waterfall wall within the forest with colourful landscaping. An entire pool tub is conveniently located at the rear of the cabana.

Sterling Robertson Clark

For the history buffs, here could be a quick bio. He brought a group of 600 settlers to Texas in 1830. He was a signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence and therefore the Constitution of the Republic of Texas. Served as Republic of Texas senator, congressman and captain in the Texas Rangers. Sterling Robinson Clark was the earliest known breeder of Arabian horses in Texas.
