STDS, or Sexually Transmitted Diseases, can afflict anyone at any age so long as they are sexually active. Single, married, straight or gay people who interact in oral, anal and vaginal sex are the very likely candidates for this nerve wracking affliction. Contrary to popular belief, STDs don't seem to be solely transferred through sexual intercourse. One will have STDs thru physical contact with someone infected with the disease as long as there are open sores and wounds on the skin. If left untreated, STDs may result in worse cases of other disease ultimately AIDS or death. The simplest manner to combat this disease is to educate the public. It's best to form individuals tuned in to STD symptoms so they'll take the required precautions to avoid having this disease.
STDs come with an extended list of diseases. They're Chlamydia, Genital Herpes (HSV-two), Genital Warts, Gonorrhea, Hepatitis B (HBV), HIV and AIDS, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID), Public Lice (Crabs), Syphilis, Trichomoniasis and Bacterial Vaginosis (BIV).
Chlamydia is a bacterial infection and could be easily treated. This disease is spread by coming back in contact with the discharge of infected people. This disease might show no signs of STD symptoms but the effects may manifest when two to three weeks of exposure. Nausea, fever, lower abdominal pain, vaginal discharge in ladies, penile discharge in men, feeling pain throughout intercourse for women and testicular pain in men are the foremost evident signs of having Chlamydia. This disease greatly affects the cervix and urethra of ladies inflicting bleeding between menstrual cycles. If left untreated, the disease can unfold to the rectum and destroy the woman's reproductive organs resulting in their infertility.
Gonorrhea share similar symptoms to Chlamydia. Like Chlamydia, one will get Gonorrhea by coming back up-to-date with infectious discharges. STD symptoms of this disease appear in two to ten days once exposure. Men infected with this disease experience a white cloudy discharge from their penis, frequent urination with a burning painful sensation every time they urinate and pain during sexual intercourse. Physically, men afflicted with gonorrhea have swollen and painful testicles.
Syphilis on the other hand is a viral disease which will be life-threatening. There are more obvious symptoms to the current disease however the simplest way to detect for infection is to possess a blood test. This disease will be transferred by means of oral and genital sex. Women infected with Syphilis will transfer the disease to their unborn babies. The infected babies can be born dead or damaged. The primary symptoms of having Syphilis is the appearance of a sore called Chancre. Chancre can be one or many round sores that appear on the penis, vagina and rectum. They simply spread and are very chronic. Once they're treated they'll recur several times in a year over an extended period of non-appearance. They can infect other individuals if they have open wounds or sores on the skin where the virus can penetrate. Alternative symptoms of Syphilis are: losing patches of hair and eyebrows, rashes on the body particularly on the bottoms of the feet and hands.
