Next, watch the movie play through, at traditional speed. This is often to train your brain to suppose about that event from a dissociated perspective, so it has less emotional punch after you bear in mind it.

The purpose of all this will be to make that memory so nonsensical it will be impossible to hassle you any more. To make sure it worked, close your eyes, and picture a snake crawling across your lap. If it still bothers you, merely go in and modification the memory some more.

Once you get the hang of this, you can go in and modification around any memory that's providing you with trouble. Rejoice!
