In the words of Morpheus "Have you ever had a dream, Neo, that you just were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you recognize the distinction between the dream world and the real world?" That just about provides you an idea on what inception is all about. A heap of folks will compare this movie to the Matrix because of some obvious similarities but Inception is not simply another Matrix rip-off. It's nothing extremely like the Matrix as this can be more of a psychological thriller rather than a virtual reality cyberpunk action flick.
The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Dom Cobb, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Arthur, Ellen Page as Ariadne, Tom Hardy as Eames, Marion Cotillard as Mallorie "Mal" Cobb, Cillian Murphy as Robert Fischer, Jr., Ken Watanabe as Saito, Tom Berenger as Peter Browning, Dileep Rao as Yusuf, Pete Postlethwaite as Maurice Fischer, Robert's dying father, Lukas Haas as Nash, Michael Caine as Miles. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan who did alternative great films like The Dark Knight, The Prestige and Memento to name a few.
In the not too distant future it is now possible to invade folks's thoughts whereas they are sleeping and extract information. That is precisely what Leo Dicap is, an idea and information extractor. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is his purpose man and they are basically thieves. They take data and concepts from necessary people. Thus they produce a dream situation and strive to create the person they are extracting the information from believe it is real. Generally though so as to administer them additional time within the dream and to form a dream a lot of believable they need to take their targets deeper into the dream realm. A dream within a dream. Now while extraction and taking ideas are a reasonably common factor during this future, planting an idea or Inception is therefore rare that some believe it's not even possible. This is often where this subconscious action flick takes off.
I really just like the manner Nolan filmed this movie. Not fully in sequence and a very little surreal and experimental within the beginning. You feel like you are kind of being in an exceedingly dream yourself. Now most dream movies like this tend to be bollocks. It starts off well enough but ends with a cop out at the end. "Oh he is dreaming that is why the movie did not build any sense", tends to be a convenient ending. Inception is the one and solely dream story I will assume of that didn't do that. The story really went out of its manner to clarify what's happening and why and thus makes it believable. The approach the story unraveled simply keeps you hooked on and you won't even need to chew your popcorn too much as you will wish to know what's visiting happen next.
Having a sensible story is one issue but telling the story is just as important. They got each spot on. After all the story was therefore good in that even while not all the action in the movie I would have still liked it from a psychological thriller aspect. The action though will play its half in this rollercoaster of a movie and will create you suspend at the sting of your seat. In case you did not notice I favor this movie. There are few films that actually impress me within the method this film has. I understand there is no such thing as a perfect film however I can't for the life of me suppose of a higher film than this in the last few years. Currently I may be a very little biased as a result of this film is precisely why I'm going to the cinemas. I like films that mess along with your head and create you doubt things that you're so certain of. That's why I am giving this film my very 1st excellent score.
