The season of "gathering" is upon us. Welcome to Fall, the time to assemble your resources for the approaching winter. It's a time to prepare for the long winter that is before us. A time to administer thanks for the various gifts you have got received and will still be blessed by. The four-leggeds and therefore the winged ones are busy; operating, building and re-building! They are preparing.
October's days are splendid with their cool and ever-changing breezes and pockets of warm air that bit the face as if an oven door opened briefly. The cardinal flashes through the trees and therefore the blue jay chortles and rasps with indignant jabs at the fox-squirrels as they grab for the acorns. Somewhere hidden from sight, a downy woodpecker knocks sort of a persistent caller at your door. What seems relaxed and at ease, is really a time of activity; getting everything prepared for the onset of winter.
Some loving the energy that it brings. We are a very little like the prairie aster that blooms till it frosts, not slacking off as a result of of what it knows is coming. It blooms profusely till the last minute, and this can be the manner we tend to work on our grief, on our losses and move into our healing ways...Differently, healed somehow by the experience. Our grief makes us temporarily forget the sweetness that surrounds us throughout the gathering season, the changing colours of the season the transition that mirrors our souls. What we could not notice as a result of of our pain of loss remains there, the birds still telling us of the dark months that are coming, we tend to just cannot imagine or don't wish to...We tend to are grieving, and that's all right. But in our own time we tend to will again re-be a part of the splendor of life.
Eventually we have a tendency to begin to note those things which move around us with beauty, those things that bring us peace; the changing colors of a tree, the brilliance of a sun as it sets for the evening, smart friends that continue to like us through our pain and reminiscences that currently sustain and offer us energy to maneuver forward differently than ever before. We have a tendency to are different now, the sunshine is completely different now. We may be wise to learn from the four-leggeds, the winged-ones' and therefore the children...They're forever in motion, in transition, making ready for the subsequent moment, the subsequent season of amendment, perpetually gathering resources...Body-mind-spirit- connection...The balance will return, trust that it will be yours simply as the seasons continue to alter you too are changing. Walk in beauty throughout this, the gathering season of your grief.
