Perceive What Meditation Is
Meditation is a common term and a standard technique used to concentrate mind on studies, work or worship etc. Everybody has an expertise on this. But when meditation is used to stay body and mind healthy, it's a deeper meaning. Once more when it is used to appreciate the spiritual truth it's a still additional deeper meaning.

Deep sleep is the foremost peaceful, blissful and refreshing state. Everyone experiences it everyday. The enjoyment of food, drink, sex or wealth is very terribly but the thrill one gets from deep sleep. But in deep sleep we have a tendency to are during a sleeping state. We tend to enter into this state unknowingly. But in meditation we have a tendency to enter into this state knowingly. Naturally we tend to shall get additional joy, happiness and bliss. In that state you are the Lord over yourself. You'll provide command over your body and mind, so that your body shall not get diseased and mind shall not loose peace and bliss.
Numerous Masters teach varied techniques for meditation. The foremost common technique is to see and consider some religious symbol or statue/photograph of God or Godman. In such techniques mind remains in the surface and you remain in dualism. You can't move inwards and feel the most peaceful and blissful self. You're not meditating but enjoying the surface world.
