Of course you must not steal from the retail business where you work. Stealing is wrong, illegal. It hurts the business and therefore the homeowners of the business. It disrespects those who work with you and it puts your job at risk.
It's not that easy though. Perhaps you're stealing as a result of you desperately need the money. Maybe you do not care about doing the correct issue or the boss or his family.
Perhaps you do not suppose regarding something before you're taking the money for yourself.
There are some things where I have seen people steal out of ignorance. Here are 3 samples of ignorant employee theft together with some data designed to counter the ignorance.
Examine all the money coming back across the counter, the business will afford it. Out of each greenback which comes across the counter the owner of the business has to pay for stock, rent, wages, insurance, advertising, electricity, automotive(s), cleaning, accounting fees, banking fees, business loans. In several retail businesses, the amount left from each dollar once all of those expenses are taken into account is just some cents. Typically the expenses are additional than the business takes in each day.
So, retail businesses aren't as rich as they seem. Sure there might be plenty of money to bank. Most of that doesn't belong to the retail business.
They deserve it, the boss treats me badly. So you are stealing to get back at what you say is unhealthy behaviour from the boss. Seriously? Have the heart to resign. Stealing as punishment is weak, it's not handling the issue. You're way worse than any dangerous behaviour from the boss.
Investigate other processes for managing a dangerous boss. It could be that you can fix this and not lose your job for stealing, and not get a police record as well.
If you cannot fix your relationship with the boss, go work somewhere else.
It is only a few dollars a day, it is not as if I am stealing thousands. Theft is theft. A couple of greenbacks is all it takes to prove that you can not be trusted. One incident of you taking a couple of greenbacks is all that's required to call the police. The quantum will not alter the crime.
Thus don't kid yourself that taking a tiny amount of cash every day or every few days makes it not a crime. It's against the law and it should be pub punished.
If you are stealing from the retail store where you work nowadays, suppose concerning why you're doing it. Seriously think concerning it. Assume concerning the implications, those you are affecting, the potential impact on the remainder of your life. Is it really worth it? Can you cope with obtaining caught?
