In the course of on a daily basis, events and circumstances occur, individuals say and do things, and not say and not do things. And I respond - frequently with some level of anger, concern, and resistance. "It matters". My reactions tell me so.
Why is that?
Another query frequently asked is, "how vital is it?" The implication typically being that somebody is exaggerating the importance of an occasion or situation. It matters an excessive amount of - in fact additional than it's worth.
My expertise is that there are perceptual filters created in my brain by past painful events. Events were painful when they separated me from others.
These mental filters are composed of undischarged emotional energies from this past painful events, and that they inject every present event with energies that are historical and not current. (If my feelings are hysterical, they're historical.)
These past separations and abandonments by others created a separation from my Self, and my higher Presence. This becomes the ongoing cause of my overreactions to current life details.
I feel alone, threatened, abandoned, and somehow deserving to be punished and abused by life. My reactions produce a protecting barrier from current and anticipated abandonment and separation - which really creates ongoing and current abandonments and separations. I have a human disease that perpetually continues till it destroys me.
Often someone will say, "But you or I've got a alternative about what our attitudes will be, and the way we can respond." This can be not true. It's a shame crammed fantasy used to try to manage others with guilt. The disease progresses unchecked.
So, what can be done to treat my progressive illness - our progressive illness?
If separation from others caused a disease that separates me from myself, others, and a higher Presence, it appears logical that the treatment would involve restoring or making a personal and intimate association -- with a higher Presence, with others, and eventually with ourselves.
Inspirational readings, inspirational quotes concerning life, and daily inspirations have been a suggests that of beginning to reconnect for me. The words carry inspirational messages from a source bigger than ourselves - I can receive the messages after I am listening, and when I am experiencing my humanness with others.
Finding daily inspirations may be a manner to begin releasing the past unresolved injuries and turning into empowered to choose how necessary is it to me. Will it really matter? And will it matter that much?
I've got learned an inspirational process that reduces the extent that one thing matters to me.
It starts with consciously and deliberately experiencing my reactions and feelings - the humanity of my illness. Then I connect with my higher Presence through inspirational life resources, like inspirational life quotes, inspirational life readings, journalling, inspirational listening, and sharing with and paying attention to others.
Then I take "inspired action" that continues to extend my intimate connections with my higher Presence - acts of trust. What if I have done everything I can regarding a situation that bothers me, or if I'm bothered while not having an actual drawback?
I can do the next right thing regarding my life generally, take actions that I would take if I were not bothered (act as if), and I will have fun, and find humor and laughter.
To me, my being bothered is just like the screen of a GPS device that tells us where I'm, and the way to urge to our destination.
1. I feel my feelings and experience where I am at this moment.
2. Then I connect to my higher Presence through inspirational resources and people. This shows where me where I'm compared to where I need to be.
3. And I take the action, including feeling my feelings, participating in inspiring action, and helping others, so as to begin moving toward the closeness and affiliation that eliminates my pain and concern - eliminates or puts into remission my disease.
