Spirituality, often misunderstood as an idea, is definitely defined as - working to be a real and strict God connected non secular being or development of religious being. The highest non secular achievement ever is one who has developed his/her true divine being to the point that his/her spirit is equal to the holy spirit of God.
Spirituality is the God connected science of developing or liberating the God created innermost being - the core of all of us "made within the image of God."
True God related spirituality is achieved by means of scientifically applying non secular teachings and spiritual techniques that allow ego to fade in the fire of divine love and ego oriented spirit higher referred to as intellect to be replaced by the Holy Spirit. Such true non secular teachings can solely be laid low with a true association to our innermost self. Since all humankind is God made; each human has at only once or another, the urge to develop their suppressed spirituality again. Spirituality is our true nature and religious development is the foremost direct approach to solutions of love and peace in all creation. We have a tendency to know God is only love, as a result of love creates, all else destroys. If Love creates and God so loved us he created the heaven and earth, so we know God solely loves. Love can not co-exist with any other premise simultaneously, therefore God is solely love.
The big bug-a-boo with being in human type vs in spiritual type (as God is) is that we have this construct referred to as 'ego' to grabble with...the ego is essential to navigate the vicissitudes in life. Nevertheless, the ego is what gets us into trouble. Thus we tend to came from spiritual type and formed an ego to grabble with the human requirements in this place called 'earth.'
All life on earth serves however the one and solely purpose of developing our spirituality once more to the purpose of being free of spiritual ignorance, freed from selfish or destructive behavioral patterns, absolve to return to our eternal home in God. True spirituality continually leads to freedom in God.
Anything else however God connected development never should be referred to as religious or spirituality. Many human developments lead in totally completely different directions - aloof from God! Worshiping idols for example, and depicting God as a punishing God, who is standing with a check sheet watching our every transgression and sending us to hell if the list is just too long or egregious.
The intent for faith or churches is to support, promote or teach true spirituality among all. This has failed in many religions. The development of true God related spirituality is below direct supervision of God and free from any religion or church. Whereas some churches might have non secular teams which have true religious teachings - most have long ago started ego oriented abuse of teachings-like God punishes sinners. Development of true spirituality is free of any church or religion - God has no faith - God is Holy Spirit!
The ultimate healing of spirit is finished when changing into one with God as a results of correct religious development. Meaning true spirituality is achieved once oneness with God. This level of non secular connection with God is mostly attributed to Gurus or an Avatar. But, I think that one can achieve this level of oneness with God although one does not achieve the excellence of either Guru or Avatar. One achieves the excellence of Guru or Avatar as a result of one chooses to be an educator of spirituality...if one will not chose to be a tutor of spirituality will not mean they need not achieved the extent of Guru or Avatar.
