Developing A Healthy Self Esteem

Once I suppose of healthy vanity, the image that comes to my mind is of my friend who has a tremendous personality. His religion and confidence in himself is commendable. He has set himself the target of being the President of a Fortune five hundred company. He speaks freely of him ambition. He is very successful in his workplace also ( he delivers at the workplace ). My friend is very successful and terribly likely to fulfill his ambition as a result of along with a variety of positive factors, he has healthy self esteem. As a result of of this, he thinks he's very capable and is in a position to line himself high goals and work towards them. High achievers have healthy self esteem. This text focuses on a way to DEVELOP healthy self esteem. I exploit the word 'develop' as a result of we will all learn to own a healthy and high self-esteem. So let's get started.
WHAT IS SELF-ESTEEM: Self-worth refers to the mental image a person has of himself. It refers to what a person thinks of himself, the confidence and satisfaction that a person has in himself.
CAUSES OF LOW SELF-ESTEEM Low self-esteem may be the results of childhood memories and programming. Low self-worth might set in even in adulthood. Simply like high shallowness can be learnt, low self-esteem is additionally learnt. The explanations given for low self-esteem might be many - physical: I am too fat, I'm too thin, I'm ugly etc., mental - I'm stupid, emotional - I handle my emotions badly, this person rejected me as a result of I'm not smart enough, I manage my emotions badly etc, circumstantial - poor background etc. Ridicule by elders and friends, unfavourable comparisons, self comparison with others, unfavourable circumstances - these will cause low self-esteem.
DEVELOPING A HEALTHY AND POSITIVE SELF-ESTEEM
1. LIST YOUR STRENGTHS AND ABILITIES: Build a listing of all of your strengths and abilities. However tiny, list it. List everything you'll be able to do. You're special and you have a unique package of talents and talents. What comes naturally to you, others may realize laborious to do. Refer to the current list often. Keep adding to the current list whenever you can. Remind yourself of your strengths and talents whenever you're feeling low.
2. POSITIVE SELF TALK: Individuals with low vanity often bask in negative self talk. This negative self talk ensures that their self esteem remains low. You do not want your help in pulling you down. Monitor your self talk. Your aim is to change your self speak to positive statements and images. But, if you find yourself unable to suppose absolutely regarding some side, then aim for neutral thoughts in that matter. Gradually, attempt to move on to positive thoughts on that matter. Achievers routinely speak to themselves positively. They prop themselves up and refuse to concentrate on any negative thought that comes to their mind. The trick is to focus only on positive thoughts. Ignore the negative ones. Do not follow them up. Do not provide them power over you.
CHANGE THE CAUSE OF NEGATIVE SELF-ESTEEM OR ELSE ACCEPT AND MOVE ON:
The causes of your negative shallowness will not escape immediately. You will have to work on it. Perceive the cause. There are 3 methods you'll be able to deal with them: either they'll be resolved immediately OR they can be resolved at a later stage OR they will never be resolved, in that case it is best to accept them as they are and move on. Bear in mind the prayer, God, give me the courage to simply accept what I cannot change. Eg. If someone's negative shallowness is linked to his being fat, then either he takes steps to turning into slim currently or accepts his body as given and stops feeling bad about it. If he cannot or does not want to try and do anything about being fat, then he ought to stop feeling unhealthy about it. He should think only smart thoughts about his body. If there's a vital close relative who brings down someone's self esteem, then mentally stop accepting the criticism. Think absolutely only and ignore the criticism.
