One of the most frustrating things that can happen when using a pouch laminator is experiencing the dreaded pouch jam. 3. If your document has begun to get wrapped around the rollers. This can be caused by adhesive building up on the rollers. If this is your problem, once again, try to remove the document while the machine is in its reverse mode. If your machine has a pouch jam lever, try using that instead.
4. If all of your best efforts have failed, you may be tempted to open up the machine yourself and remove your document. This can be okay if your laminator can open up some products that can do so include the Fellowes Venus VL 125. (Just make sure you let the device cool off for a bit so you don t burn yourself.) If your laminator lacks this capability, call in a technician. Trying to take care of the problem yourself can void the warranty and really damage the machine if you re not careful.

The carrier will prevent adhesive from coating the machine s rollers. When there s no glue on the rollers, your chances of experiencing a pouch jam are drastically reduced. Dealing with a pouch jam is annoying, but by following these tips, the experience will be easier. And, if you use a carrier, you can prevent a pouch jam from even happening. That will save you a lot of time and frustration.
